VALE Rosie,

December 3, 2004

After succumbing to the toxic effects of a paralysis tick found Tuesday on her face.  Numerous vet visits occurred.  As she was showing no ill-effects the vet did not advise nor give an anti-serum; tragically 48 hours after the tick was removed Rose went down hill very suddenly and passed away early this morning.

A very sad loss, this little girl was Mika's first Keeshond.  She was only 2 years old but had already achieved results in the show ring that many Champions don't achieve in a lifetime.

Melbourne Royal Best of Breed 2004 and shortlisted in final 8 for Group.RUIS All Breeds Ch. Show, Best in Group, Runner up in Group, Class in Show winner.

I know Rose was a very special and much loved cheeky companion
 to her proud owner Mika.

Gone too soon, RIP sweet girl.

Rose and Mika

from Brooke & Rohan

We wish we could have told you,
in words you'd understand,
We wanted you to stay with us.
This wasn't what we'd planned.

Your life was full if not so long
you gave so much, and asked for none
your ease with us, your beautiful grace
oh Rose, you're so much better than this place.

We wish somehow to tell you,
How empty we now feel.
A part of us went with you,
A part that time can't heal.

We wish we had you back again,
to fill this empty space.
But one day we'll be together
in a far, far better place.
