Everybody knows I am so very proud of Levi. When he died all his success in the show ring seemed insignificant in comparison to what he meant to me as my friend and companion. However, it can't be denied, he was truly born a showoff and he loved every minute of life. A friend once said to me, "You can't really beat Levi - No matter what the result he always looks as if he is the winner! He has this look about him, this charisma. He knows how good he is and lets you know it - but in the nicest possible way......." Charismatic - a great word to describe Levi. Those friends who met and loved him know what I mean. He was also a great grinner, blustering and snuffling when he thought something was really funny which would always end up making me laugh even more. Put simply, Levi was an extremely sound honest dog. He moved effortlessly and soundly in all directions on a loose lead. He stacked himself straight and true. As a puppy one judge noted he could (and would) jump around on his back legs then come down, stamp his feet and be 4 square! He always gave 110% and he LOVED to show. Levi was always formidable competition in any scenario. He defeated all before him starting from his very first day in the show ring. He was among the top achievers in the Non-Sporting group (Group 7) Nationally all of his life. In 1999 he was the #1 Non Sporting Dog In Australia in the Ozdog- Pedigree Competition. In 2000 he was ranked #9 Non Sporting Dog in Australia - National Dog Competition. Most years his results would see him beat 4000-5000 dogs in all breeds competition. NSW Kees Club Competitions. With numerous successes across all arenas of conformation
competition he is undoubtedly one of the top Keeshond show dogs of all
time. 58 x Best In Group (Gr 1) Awards at All Breeds Champ Shows 50 x Runner Up Best in Group (Gr 2) Awards at All Breeds Champ Shows Total challenge points 4,305 At the time of his death Levi was Victoria's Top Dog in the Non-Sporting Group in the PEDIGREE Breeder: Show Dog of the Year Competition. Levi was consistently awarded by International & Local judges and has received many wonderful critiques. Top Dog Keeshond Club of Victoria 97, 98,99, 00, 01, 02 & 2003 and Top puppy in 1996. Wins at Royal shows in 6 States, Group 2nd Sydney Royal 2003, Group 4th Sydney Royal 2001, 8 Royal BOB, 5 Royal RUBOB, 5 times shortlisted for group at a Royal. An amazing record at specialty shows. Specialty winner in 3 States, 6 BIS, 2 RUBIS, majority of appearances resulted with him at least winning his class at a Specialty. Never overlooked by International Breed Specialists. 2003 achievements included (from only attending 18 shows)

Levi shows his fine form on the move - balanced, strong and sound in all directions naturally on a loose lead - "moved like a dream" was the comment on many occasions.
