Non-Sporting Dog Club of Victoria 1997 -
WINNER TOP DOG COMPETITION
A competition where each breed in the Non-Sporting group was represented by
the dog that had won the most Best of Breed awards throughout the year at the 2
major show venues in Melbourne. There were 3 judges voting via elimination
rounds, one on one, until one dog was left. It was such a thrill to
win this award with Levi and he was only 2 years old. Sadly this was
the last year this competition was run. Levi won as the prize one of my favourite
trophies, a beautiful Timber
bookcase in memory of Wally Hall. Levi and his sire, Grand Champion Kerjoydon Earl O Hearts were
the only 2 Keeshonds ever to win this competition.
Keeshond Club of Victoria Inc : TOP DOG 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 & 2003
(A record number of wins on this trophy. It will be a long time before this record is broken.
