December 27 & 28, 2004

27th - Toivo won CC & Best of Breed and Best Junior in Group at Lancefield Kennel Club.  With 17 Kees exhibited he won another 21 points towards his Championship title.

28th - Toivo won Best Junior in Group at the last show of the year, Kilmore Kennel Club.  He finishes the year having won his class on all but one occasion.

VALE -  our Keeshond friend Rosie "Ch Deldacmeer Sweet Delight" owned and treasured by Mika Graham.

After succumbing to the toxic effects of a paralysis tick found Tuesday on her face.  Numerous vet visits occurred.  As she was showing no ill-effects the vet did not advise nor give an anti-serum; but tragically 48 hours after the tick was removed Rose went down hill very suddenly and passed away early this morning.

A very sad loss, this little girl was only 2 years old but had already achieved results in the show ring that many Champions don't achieve in a lifetime.  

Melbourne Royal Best of Breed 2004 and shortlisted in final 8 for Group.RUIS All Breeds Ch. Show, Best in Group, Runner up in Group, Class in Show winner. 

She was a very special and much loved cheeky companion to her proud owner Mika.  Gone too soon, RIP sweet girl.

November 6 & 7, 2004

Toivo won CC & Best of Breed both days this weekend from the Junior Class.  He won 9 points and 17 points respectively.  A.J. was Res CC and his daughter Molly RUBOB to Toivo.

Toivo won Reserve CC & Runner Up Best of Breed at Euroa ABCS.

Toivo won Best Junior in Group at Wodonga Kennel Club ABCS under Mr J Lim from Singapore.

Sadly, Grand Champion Tiburon Sir Galahad passed away today at the age of 12 1/2 years.  He was a Multi BIS, BISS and Royal BOB Winner. My sympathies to Val Hughes and Blaine.

Toivo is getting better and better each time we go to a show.  Today we were thrilled to win his first CC, and then Best of Breed at Yarrawonga, Mulwala ABCS.   He then won Best in Group (Gr 1st) and Best Junior in Group, to become my youngest ever Gr 1 winner at just 1 yr, 1 week.  What a great start to his points tally with the maximum 25 points.

September 3 & 4, 2004

Toivo has settled in well at home and made his showring debut here in Victoria this weekend.  We attended 4 small shows for practice together and Toivo came home with the following results:

• Runner up Best in Show, Best Puppy in Show, Best in Group & Best Puppy in Group - Melbourne Dog Club Open Show (entry 275)

• Best in Group & Best Puppy in Group - Seymour & District Open show 

• Runner up Best in Group & Best Puppy in Group - Yea & District Open Show 

• Runner up Best in Group & Best Puppy in Group - Kilmore & District KC Open show

Toivo arrived today from Finland!  He will spend 30 days in quarantine before he can come home to start his new life here with me.  Thank you Johanna for sending me this little treasure.
